Chapter Committees:
1. Golf Tournament - Jim Wade. We learned last week that our McNair Custom Homes, who has supported our Golf Tournament strongly over the years, has decided not to be our Title sponsor for the May 2, 2005 Tournament. Instead, he will be throwing his support to raising funds for the School at Holy Spirit. This loss of a major sponsor is a challenge, and an opportunity. In addition to the tournament there will the Silent Auction dinner at Pat O'Brien's restaurant on the Riverwalk, May 1.
2. Habitat for Humanity - Sam Szalwinski. November 13 will be landscaping day and the house will be blessed on the 20th of November. This ministry is one of building families. This is what we as knights do. Due to unforeseen challenges more help is needed if the house is to be completed on schedule. See the building schedule and more at http://golf.texascomputerhelp.com/house.htm
3. Religious Appreciation Dinner. The date has been rescheduled to February 6. This is a challenging time of year, following closely on Christmas. We want to have invitations mailed out in the first week of January. We will need for volunteers to help obtain gifts, registration, serving food, helping at bingo, and transportation. Last year we had over 600 attend.
