Chapter Chaplain Report: Bishop Flanagan  told us that last Sunday gospel the Lord was disappointed because one of ten people returned to say thank you. He mentioned that he remembers the Second World War in which a reporter mentioned that whenever the English were awoken at 2 am that they never forgot who they were and they were always gracious. He asked every GK to pick the phone and call their brother members and simply say Thank you. Never forget to offer a thank you to your brother knights, to offer a thank you to your wives, to offer a thank you to your children to offer a thank you to those around you. He mentioned that he wanted to encourage that we have a great message,  a message that will bring and spread LOVE for all those around your brother knights and others and say thank you to all. Also there are three things that we must do as knights one is to share hope and to give hope, to provide encouragement. He mentioned that when we talk to people today many are fed-up with life, fed-up with their life. In the Knights of Columbus there is no room to belittle anyone, there is no room to put someone down. In fact it is strictly forbidden. Take care of your brother knight, Fraternal care does not mean simply showing up for celebrations and meetings, it means to take care of our brothers. Be a real friend, when things go wrong for our brothers be there for them do not turn away. To be a Knight of Columbus means to be there for your brothers on those trying days, be a shining light for those who need help. When you first encounter someone, keep them in your vision for 60-90 seconds, try to make that person your only vision during those seconds. This makes people feel special and shows them that God loves them through you.

President’s Report:  Chapter President Rudy Escamilla mentioned that April 12 is the Gala for the tournament and the 14th is the tournament.
