President's Report
Thanks to Bob Von Lehmdem for chairing last months meeting. Several of us were at the Cathedral supporting a meeting of many Cardinals, Archbishops, and Bishops from Canada, the United States, Mexico, Central and South America here for a three day conference hosted by Archbishop Flores. Little Flower Council hosted the hospitality tonight for the conference. Mike Nishimuta was in the choir, Ken Martinez helped at San Fernando for the liturgy. The chapter was responsible for their transportation to and from the airport. Thanks to all who helped. Rudy Escamilla read a letter of appreciation from Bishop Gregory, President of the US Catholic Council of Bishops, for our help in the transportation.
Religious Appreciation…Record crowd, awesome event. Thanks to workers at Council 4140 for their generosity and work.
We'd like to confirm the meeting site for the next few months. We'd like to know if Council 10181, St Joan of Arc, can host the April meeting, Council 7770, St James, the June meeting, and Council 9902 St Mary Magdalen, the July meeting. Please contact the chapter secretary, Mike Nishimuta, at 601-1373.
